Scotty McCreery's Newly-Leaked 'Out of Summertime' Receives Positive Response

Due to its potential to be a summer hit, the sunny track is rumored to be the follow-up to Scotty's record-breaking single 'I Love You This Big' .

's never-heard-before song called "Out of Summertime" has made its round on the web earlier this week. It was leaked while his first country single "I Love You This Big" is still burning the charts, but was soon pulled out of the internet by his label.

Despite its premature arrival, the song got positive reviews from some critics and music fans. The track, which is more upbeat than "Love You This Big", indeed has a potential to keep the spirit of summer high with its sunny vibes. It's speculated to be Scotty's second single.

"What we felt on that ferris wheel, was just too right and just too real," Scotty delivered the love song between the twangy beat. "She could have been mine, but we ran out of summertime," he went on singing about the girl who has captured his heart. "She was hot as July, sweet as sunshine."

Scotty McCreery is the winner of"" season 10. Following his victory on the singing competition, he succeeded in breaking the charts. The teen singer scored the highest chart debut for a new artist on Billboard Country Songs chart in the SoundScan era by debuting at No. 32 on the weekly rundown. In addition, he reached No. 1 on iTunes and No. 3 on the Billboard Digital Songs chart.
