The Chester Bennington-fronted band get a snake and the 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' robots in the Joe Hahn-directed clip.

AceShowbiz - Linkin Park has dropped a music video directed by band member Joe Hahn for "Iridescent", a soundtrack of upcoming movie "Transformers: Dark of the Moon". The clip features some explosive scenes of the robot battle in the movie and shots of the band members. Mike Shinoda sits on a throne with a snake curled around his arm, and frontman Chester Bennington is standing tall while screaming out the lyrics.

"As we've gone on, the videos have gotten more abstract [and] I kind of like that," Mike told MTV. "I've been encouraging it with Joe, because ... the stuff that goes on in his head is really interesting and really fun, and I think it probably comes from the fact he grew up reading a lot of comics, watching anime, those things. Especially in a video like this, you can tell the influences are there."

Talking about his scene with the snake, he gushed, "All I know about the concept is that Joe Hahn sent me an e-mail that said something about 'In the valley of the blind, the one-eyed man is king', or something like that. And the next thing I know, I've got horns growing out of my shoulders, and I've got one blind eye, and I've got a white dog and a snake on a throne made of antlers."

In addition to the Linkin Park song, "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" has also got Paramore's track for another theme song. Titled "Monster", it has been previewed in a short snippet and will make its way out for full stream on June 3 before being released for digital download 4 days later.

Also featuring My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Staind, Mastodon and the Goo Goo Dolls, soundtrack compilation CD for the Shia LaBeouf-starring movie will be released in the United States on June 7. The film, meanwhile, will arrive in theaters across the country on June 29.
