has a solo buzz single from her upcoming album coming out next week. Before releasing it in full for free download on Tuesday, June 7, she drops a snippet of the song in a newly-released video which opens with a shot of an Einstein quote, "If at first the idea is not absurd, then there is no hope for it", inked on an arm.

Next, Skylar appears sitting behind a piano belting out some recent songs she contributed; 's "Coming Home", 's "I Need a Doctor" and 's "Love the Way You Lie". The Grammy-nominated artist is featured in the first two singles, and co-wrote the third one.

The snippet of Skylar's upcoming single, titled "Dance Without You", is available halfway through the video right after she finished singing 's "Love the Way You Lie" lines. "I wanna dance without you/ I want just let me lose myself," she fills in the drum-driven sound.

When recently talking about her songwriting, Skylar once told AOL Music, "Anytime I write, I write based on what I would do. I don't really write melodies or lyrics that I'm trying to tailor towards for someone else. Anytime I write it's based on what I would naturally do and then other people can sing it too, put their own twist on it."
