Stabilized After Jet Ski Crash, Sean Kingston Moved to ICU

Describing Sean's condition after the Sunday, May 29 crash, the man who rescued him says that the 'Beautiful Girls' hitmaker was responsive, but was 'puking up blood out of his mouth'.

Hip-Hop star has been stabilized. The "Beautiful Girls" hitmaker was, on Sunday, May 29, rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital following a jet ski accident that reportedly left him in critical condition, but he has since been moved from the trauma center into the intensive care unit.

Giving a latest update on the 21-year-old's condition post the accident was his publicist Joseph Carozza. In a statement released to the press, the representative said, "Sean Kingston is now stabilized and has moved from the trauma unit to ICU. Sean's family thanks everyone for their prayers and support during this time."

Sean crashed his jet ski into a bridge connecting Palm Island to the MacArthur Causeway in Miami, Florida on Sunday evening. Jorge Pino, a spokesman for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, told People Magazine, "Sean was heading west from the MacArthur Causeway and Miami Beach Islands when his personal watercraft collided with the bridge, and he and his female passenger ended up in the water."

"A good Samaritan tended to the two of them until Miami Beach Fire Rescue arrived and saw there were injuries," added Jorge before confirming that Sean and his companion were transported to Jackson Ryder Trauma Center in Miami around 6 P.M. He insisted that "nothing indicates there was alcohol involved."

Jonathan Rivera, the man who rescued Sean after his jet ski crash, has also talked about on the singer's condition on the scene. To TMZ, he spilled that the singer was spitting up blood. Offering details, the member of the Coast Guard shared that when he was trying to keep Sean's head above water, the singer was "convulsing and throwing up blood all over me".

Jonathan added that it took about 15 minutes for a police boat to finally arrive. When the help arrived, he told Sean he was going to be okay. To which, Sean replied, "I'm going to be okay." Jonathan added that although Sean did need some assistance getting into the boat, he was able to follow directions.
