AceShowbiz - Having just unveiled its primetime schedule for the 2011-2012 season, FOX debuts first look to its new series. From crime drama "Alcatraz" to comedy "The New Girl" and animation "Allen Gregory", all are introduced in trailers released by the network.

To air every Monday starting in midseason, "Alcatraz" revolves around Alcatraz and the team investigating the mysterious reappearance of its 1960s inhabitants in the present. Making it more mysterious, the trailer hints one of the missing persons will somehow appear in present day.

"New Girl" stars Zooey Deschanel as an unlucky-in-love school teacher who becomes roommates with three guys after her devastating break-up. The show is likely to generate laughs by presenting the men who have to adjust themselves to Zooey's dramatic and emotional way in handling her latest split. "New Girl" will premiere in fall and air every Tuesday following "Glee".

Another comedy, "I Hate My Teenage Daughter" follows two women who have to deal with daughters resembling the girls who once picked on them in high school. Starring Jaime Pressly and Katie Finneran, the show fills Wednesdays' 9:30 P.M. slot starting in fall.

"Allen Gregory" is an animated comedy about a home-schooled genius who is forced to enter public school. Too mature at his young age, the title character has some trouble in his relationships with teachers and friends at school, and are often considered making improper behaviors. "Allen Gregory" will air every Sunday starting this fall.

In midseason, "Allen" airing slot will be taken over by another animation "Napoleon Dynamite", which is adapted from 2004's movie of the same title. Reuniting the original cast to lend their voices, the show will present new adventures of the title character.

In addition to these five shows, FOX also releases promos for "The Finder" and "Terra Nova". However, the sneak peek to the "Bones" spin-off is only compiled from scenes in a "Bones" episode featuring Geoff Stults as a "finder" Walter Sherman, while a trailer for the Steven Spielberg-produced drama mostly features scenes which have already seen in previous preview videos.
