AceShowbiz - First clip of "Take Shelter" has been unveiled. The newly-released video follows Michael Shannon who witnesses a storm forming above the sky. At the end of the preview, he finds out that what he saw is a dream.

The psychological drama movie revolves around Shannon's Curtis LaForche, who lives in a small town in Ohio with his wife and six-year-old deaf daughter. When LaForche begins to have terrifying dreams, he keeps the visions to himself. He channels his anxiety into obsessively building a storm shelter in his backyard. The film features a fully-realized characters crumbling under the weight of real-life problems.

In the upcoming film, Jessica Chastain stars as Samantha LaForche, Curtis' wife. Other supporting actors include Shea Whigham, Katy Mixon, Kathy Baker, Lisa Gay Hamilton, Ray McKinnon, and Robert Longstreet. The Jeff Nichols-directed movie will have its limited release in the U.S. on October 7.
