To make room for other new series like 'Last Man Standing' and 'Pan Am', the network also axes 'V', 'No Ordinary Family' and more.

AceShowbiz - ABC has made a dozen pickups for 2011-2012 season within only 24 hours. The network's new boss Paul Lee has given a greenlight to "Charlie's Angels" which serves as a reboot to the 1970s series, Tim Allen's comedy "Last Man Standing", Christina Ricci-starring soap "Pam An", and Shonda Rhimes-produced drama "Scandal".

The network additionally picks up "Apartment 23" which will see James Van Der Beek making his comedy role debut, cross-dressing comedy "Work It", and "Good Christian Belles" starring Leslie Bibb and Kristin Chenoweth. Also making the cut are "Revenge", "Once Upon a Time", "The River", "Suburgatory" and "Man Up".

Getting new series, the alphabet decides to end some shows from its current list. "Brothers & Sisters", which had been in the bubble, cannot escape the cancellation despite reported attempt to bring it back for a sixth season.

"V" will not return for a new season either, with ABC also pulling the plug on rookie series "No Ordinary Family", "Off the Map", "Better With You", "Detroit 1-8-7" and "Mr. Sunshine".

Meanwhile, "Body of Proof" gets a good news as it has been renewed for a new season. Also returning next fall is reality show "Secret Millionaire".
