David Hasselhoff Officially Added to 'Piranha 3DD'

The former 'Baywatch' actor has signed a deal to appear in the John Gulager-directed horror movie.

AceShowbiz - David Hasselhoff heads back to water in "Piranha 3DD". The actor, who is famous for his portrayal of an L.A. County Lifeguard on "Baywatch" series, has officially been cast alongside Danielle Panabaker, Christopher Lloyd, and Ving Rhames in the thriller film.

Beside "Baywatch", Hasselhoff is also best known for his role in 1980s series "Knight Rider". In addition to acting, the 58-year-old actor also hit reality TV world by serving as a judge for "America's Got Talent", before moving to "Britain's Got Talent". He recently appeared in "Hop", in which he starred opposite Russell Brand, Hugh Laurie, and Chelsea Handler.

Serving as the sequel of "Piranha 3-D", "Piranha 3DD" takes places in The Big Wet Water Park, where the flesh-eating fish finds a way through the pipes. Thus, no one is safe from the fish, whose teeth are as sharp as razor. The John Gulager-directed film is currently shooting in Washington D.C. to meet a November 23 U.S. release.
