TV

In the May 11 episode of 'Survivor: Redemption Island', Rob changed direction and blindsided Grant after his initial plan to vote out Ashley was ruined.

AceShowbiz - Boston Rob continues showing his control on "Survivor: Redemption Island" by having other castaways vote out Grant on the Wednesday, May 11 episode. His initial plan was to vote out Ashley, but it was scrapped when she won immunity.

Earlier in the episode, Andrea, Matt, Mike and Ralph had a duel at the Redemption Island. The task was to use a handle to maneuver through a table maze, followed by collecting puzzle pieces and solving the puzzle. Ralph was the first to complete the table maze, but he could not finish the puzzle faster than the other tree contestants, so he was officially out of the game and joined the jury.

Meanwhile, in immunity challenge, Ashley and the other castaways, Natalie, Rob, Phillip and Grant, had to complete a fish scale puzzle with one arm tied behind their backs. As the winner, Ashley also got a three-course meal delivered to her at camp, and she picked her BFF Natalie to join her with the room service.

Before the Tribal Council, Grant took another direction and decided to follow Ashley and Natalie's suggestion to vote out Grant. He worked hard to get Phillip agree to blindside Grant, which resulted at Grant being voted out 4-1.

Grant went to Redemption Island, but he still has a chance to win $1 million when one from Redemption Island returns to join the game on the finale. The two-hour final episode will air Sunday, May 15 at 8/7c on CBS.
