In the first look picture, Moore accurately portrayed Palin by wearing thin-framed glasses, smart blazer, signature up-do and political rally point-and-smile pose.

AceShowbiz - Julianne Moore transformed herself to Sarah Palin in "Game Change", donning the trademark eyeglasses and the hair-do. The actress is to portray the former Alaska Governor and vice presidential candidate in the HBO film which began its production on Wednesday, April 27 and released the first photo of its Palin.

"Game Change" is based on the bestselling book of the same name by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin. It follows John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign, from his controversial selection of Palin as his running mate to their ultimate defeat in the general election. Ed Harris has been cast as McCain but actors are yet announced to portray the other three principals in the 2008 campaign; Barack Obama, Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton.

It was unveiled earlier this week that Melissa Farman is cast as Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol Palin whose pregnancy and engagement to Levi Johnston were considered political liability. More casting news just come up, mentioning Sarah Paulson, Peter MacNicol and Justin Gaston. The latest will be none other than Johnston.

According to Deadline, Paulson is set as McCain's senior campaign adviser Nicolle Wallace who is described as attractive, wholesome, California-bred, smart, focused and an ambitious political writer and communications chief who worked for Jeb Bush and then McCain. MacNicol will play McCain's campaign manager Rick Davis, who oversaw the development and implementation of all campaign strategy and policy development.
