The vacuum company is furious that ABC would end the soaps after years on the screen, setting up an e-mail account that would act as a petition from fans.

AceShowbiz - There's one company who disagrees with the cancellation of "All My Children" and "One Life to Live". Vacuum maker Hoover is not only disappointed with ABC's decision to end the long-running soaps but posted a furious message on Facebook and pulled their ads from the network as a sign of protest.

The company's marketing VP Brian Kirkendall wrote, "I want you to know from me personally that we hear you loud and clear. My wife and mother are both passionate viewers of 'All My Children' and 'One Life to Live', as are many of my colleagues here at Hoover. We were and are as disappointed with this news as you are."

He added, "In fact, we will discontinue our advertising with ABC this Friday, 4/22. We're making every attempt to pull our spots from these programs sooner." Hoover is still crossing fingers that ABC will overturn the decision, setting up a special email address where fans can show their support and be heard.

"We're 150|percent| committed to doing what matters most to you - so if there's anything else we can do to help or you have any ideas, please email this address, and we will respond to you personally. Thank you for standing up for what matters to you! We need more of that in this world," Kirkendall signed off.
