'Real Housewife' Lisa Vanderpump 'Excited' to Be Correspondent for Royal Wedding

To serve as CNN's Headline News correspondent, the British born reality TV star says she is looking forward to seeing the wedding gown.

AceShowbiz - Lisa Vanderpump will be taking part at the impending nuptials of Prince William and Kate Middleton, though she is not among the invited guests. The star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" has been tapped to serve as CNN's Headline News correspondent for the Royal wedding which takes place on Friday, April 29 in London.

"It's an honor, and I'm excited HLN asked Giggy and me to comment on the royal wedding," Vanderpump confirmed the news to Radar Online while she was at a fancy Beverly Hills eatery. While commenting on the wedding, she will reportedly also tag along her beloved Pomeranian pooch Giggy.

Gushing on what she is eager to see, Vanderpump said, "I'm most certainly looking forward to seeing the wedding gown." The British born beauty added, "I'm sure it will be classic and definitely one of a kind. I'm terribly excited."

Beside CNN, ABC and Fox News Channel will air their own live coverage of the Royal wedding beginning at 4 A.M. ET on the big day. Diane Sawyer and Barbara Walters will anchor ABC's live coverage, while Shepard Smith and Martha MacCallum will anchor live coverage on Fox News Channel.
