AceShowbiz - First teaser trailer for "The Woman in Black" has been debuted. The preview, debuted via IGN, features Daniel Radcliffe's Arthur Kipps who has a scary experience while he is working in a spooky house.
Based on the novel by Susan Hill, the thriller film revolves around Kipps, a lawyer who is forced to leave his young son and travel to a remote village to attend to the affairs of the recently deceased owner of Eel Marsh House. While working alone in the isolated mansion, he begins to uncover the town's tragic.
Kipps' unease escalates as he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black while local villagers are unwilling to explain the significance of her appearance. When those closest to him become threatened by the vengeful woman in black, Kipps must find a way to break the cycle of terror.
The film has James Watkins serve behind the lens, with Jane Goldman penning the script. In the meantime, Ciaran Hinds, Janet McTeer, and Lucy May Barker take other roles in the movie, which is set for U.K. release on February 10, 2012.
