Britney Spears Denies Stunt Double and Tour Cancellation Rumors

The 'Till the World Ends' stunt-double rumor is called 'BS', and the report about the cancellation of 'Femme Fatale' tour is branded as fabricated news as well.

AceShowbiz - A day after rumor suggesting that Britney Spears used a stunt double in "Till the World Ends" music video, her camp wasted no time to shoot it down. In her official website, the news was alerted as "BS" despite recently-revealed screen-shots which seemed to prove otherwise.

Adding the unfavorable report about Britney was a rumor claiming she planned to cancel her tour "because she's not feeling ready." A source told The Sun, "She doesn't feel she has enough time to prepare and has asked management to pull all her dates and postpone everything until later on in the year."

"She's a perfectionist and wants everything to be better than ever before. She is having to compete with other huge female stars such as Rihanna and Lady GaGa now so wants to step the show up. Obviously it's gone down like a lead balloon because venues and staff are booked and ready to go."

The source continued, "They are trying to talk her round or at least hoping she'll consider going out in September. Either way, there are a lot of meetings going on about how to announce it and handle it. It's a massive headache."

Coming out hot on the heels of Enrique Iglesias' withdrawal as Britney's opening act, this story has also been denied. A representative for her U.K. PR company said as quoted by PopDash, "The story in the Sun today isn't true - Britney's tour is NOT being postponed!"

Britney is expected to kick off the tour in mid June to support her newly-released studio album "Femme Fatale" which is currently sitting at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 200. Rumored to fill the vacant slot left by Enrique are either Usher or Joe Jonas or Nicki Minaj.
