Description of 'Falling Skies' Clips Screened at WonderCon
TV

Two clips see Noah Wyle and Drew Roy getting through the day during alien invasion, while another clip shows a more peaceful situation.

AceShowbiz - TNT has proudly promoted its new TV series "Falling Skies" at WonderCon. Late last week, a panel for the Steven Spielberg-produced sci-fi drama took place in Los Angeles where some clips from the show were screened.

The first clip features a child voice-over which describes that aliens take over Earth, kill adults and take children. The child claims his mother was killed, and he and his father are now fighting. The scene then follows Noah Wyle and Drew Roy who run through a destructed city. They finally gather with other people.

The next clip shares footage set in daytime. Wyle and another man watch a group of children with big metal devices attached to and running down their spine which are likely used by aliens to control them. As the man tries to rescue one of the children, an alien robot notices them and a gun fight is triggered.

Later, the footage screened at the panel highlights non-action scene. It sees Roy and Jesse Sharan talking about "Harry Potter" books and reminiscing on life before the aliens. The final scene, meanwhile, features Wyle and Moon Bloodgood during a typical day at the camp. Asked by Bloodgood what his plan next, he says, "Retreat, regroup, return, revenge."

"Falling Skies" is set six months after the alien invasion took place, while the invasion itself will not be shown even in form of a flashback. During that time, all electricity is gone, communication is dead and the military has been taking out. Having also Seychelle Gabriel and Will Patton as the cast members, the series will be premiered June 19 on TNT.
