Broken Bells Debut 'Heartless Empire' Music Video

James Mercer and Danger Mouse hang out in studio and perform their 'Heartless Empire' in this music video.
Broken Bells Debut 'Heartless Empire' Music Video

have just made public their "Heartless Empire" music video on AOL. Filled with their in-studio performance footage, the clip "shows Mercer helming the seven-piece rock outfit while Danger Mouse hits the drums and ragged guitar chords rip underneath the verby vocals and brass accompaniment."

"Heartless Empire" is taken from Broken Bells' new mini album "Meyrin Fields" which is released a year after their 2010 self-titled effort which received positive reviews. The song reportedly is an unreleased song from their previous studio session.

Broken Bells consist of indie musician James Mercer and multi-instrumentalist Brian Burton aka Danger Mouse. Last year, this duo broke Billboard Hot 200 with their eponymous effort, climbing to No. 7 on the U.S. albums chart.
