Breezy thanks his fans for helping him score his first No. 1 album on the U.S. albums chart with his newly-released CD.

AceShowbiz - Chris Brown has scored his first No. 1 album with "F.A.M.E.". Despite some negative publicity which he received in the days that led to the album release, he still managed to top Billboard Hot 200 by selling around 270,000 copies with his fourth studio album.

Breezy previously hoped to sell 1 million with the effort, but he's still grateful with the actual sale number. "I wanna thank all of my fans for making my album number 1 in the country!" the R&B performer tweeted, sending thank-you note to his devotees. "I love you! We did it."

Trailing behind Breezy is Jennifer Hudson. The "American Idol" alum bows at No. 2 with her sophomore set "I Remember Me" which has sold more than 165,000 copies in its first week on sale. Rounding up the top 3 is former champ Adele's "21" with additional 96,000.

The other new entries which flood the rest of the chart are The Strokes' "Angles" at No. 4, Kirk Franklin's "Hello Fear" at No. 5, "Songs for Japan" compilation at No. 6, Panic At the Disco's "Vices & Virtues" at No. 7, and Bobby V's "Fly on the Wall" at No. 9.

In between those new entries, there are two holdovers which survive the axes. Mumford & Sons' "Sigh No More" drops from No. 5 to No. 8; and Lupe Fiasco's "Lasers" tumbles seven places from No. 3 to No. 10.
