'Inception' Is Best Movie at 2011 Empire Awards

'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I' is dubbed Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy film while Colin Firth is chosen as Best Actor.

Jameson Empire Awards handed out the prizes at Grosvenor House Hotel in London, England on March 27. Grabbing the highest accolade was Christopher Nolan's mind-bending movie "" which was dubbed Best Film.

Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy, meanwhile, went to the latest installment of "Harry Potter" series, "". "", "" and "" were named Best Horror, Best Comedy and Best Thriller respectively. Additionally, "" was picked as Best British Film.

Continuing his glorious moment, "" actor pocketed Jameson Best Actor kudo from the awards show. Swedish beauty was deemed Best Actress for her role in "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", while of "Kick-Ass" was named Best Newcomer.

and were among other honorees at the Sunday ceremony. The "" actress was presented with Empire Hero award, while "" actor was handed with Empire Icon kudo.
