Jim Carrey's 'Mr. Popper's Penguins' Debuts First Teaser Trailer

The first preview sees Jim Carrey enjoys having dinner with his six inherited penguins in his apartment.

The anticipated first teaser trailer from "" is finally released. 20th Century Fox has released the video for viewing pleasure on Wednesday, March 23 at Sea World in San Diego, California. Although it does not give any hint about the plot, the footage shows enjoys having dinner with six penguins, with which Carrey's character shares the apartment.

The upcoming comedy movie follows Carrey's Mr. Popper as a businessman whose life has changed after he inherits a flightless bird from his estranged father. Later, he comes into possession of a playful female penguin as well, which leads to his penguins expanding their family. Mr. Popper then trains them to perform in a traveling show.

The family movie also features , Angela Lansbury, Ophelia Lovibond, and Philip Baker Hall. James Tupper, , , and Andrew Stewart-Jones are additionally included in the production.

"Mr. Popper's Penguins", which is made under the direction of Mark Waters, is adapted from a Newbery-winning children's book written by Richard and Florence Atwater of the same name. Previously slated to hit the theater on August 12, the movie is now set to come out in theaters on June 17.
