Movie

Shia LaBeouf has been snapped shooting the film around Peachtree, where he donned a period clothing and was surrounded by children.

AceShowbiz - After rumor went viral that "The Wettest County in the World" is filming around Peachtree, the first look of the upcoming movie has leaked online. On the pictures, Shia LaBeouf is featured on set, donning a period garb and surrounded by children.

Beside the "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" star, the film also assembles other Hollywood stars, including "Inception" star Tom Hardy, "The Dark Knight" actor Gary Oldman, and "Alice in Wonderland" beauty Mia Wasikowska. "The King's Speech" actor Guy Pearce, "Public Enemies" actor Jason Clarke, "True Blood" actor Dane DeHaan and "The Debt" actress Jessica Chastain also reportedly join the club.

"The Wettest County in the World", based on Matt Bondurant's novel of the name, will see Hardy and LaBeouf leading as the bootlegging Bondurant brothers. Adapted by "The Proposition" screenwriter Nick Cave and directed by John Hillcoat, the movie is a mix of brotherhood, greed, and murder.

The film tells the story of the Bondurant Boys, a notorious gang of moonshiners. They are Forrest, the eldest brother, Howard, the middle brother, and Jack, the youngest. Vying a large cache of bootlegging money, the group ends up cutting Forrest's throat. He tries to survive by going through a trek to a hospital 12 miles away from his place.

While Forrest endeavors to reach his destination, Sherwood Anderson, the journalist and author who does research a magazine piece on the area's prolific moonshiners, arrives in Franklin County. Anderson later christens it the "wettest county in the world". Soon after Anderson's arrival, two anonymous men appear at the same hospital. The arc of the story lies between the attack on Forrest and that on the two men.
