First Trailer for Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts' 'Larry Crowne'
Movie

Hanks' titular character has a crush on his teacher, portrayed by Roberts, and they are seen kissing in the trailer.

AceShowbiz - Universal Pictures has dropped the first trailer for "Larry Crowne" which pairs up Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts. Debuted via Yahoo! Movies, the video follows the titular character but does not really explain where the story will take Larry to. It, however, manages to share some romantic scenes involving the two lead stars including the one which sees them kissing.

Hanks plays Larry Crowne who was a superstar team leader at the big-box company where he's worked since his time in the Navy until he is fired. Underwater on his mortgage and unclear on what to do with his suddenly free days, Larry heads to his local college to start over.

In his public-speaking class, Larry develops an unexpected crush on his teacher, Roberts' Mercedes Tainot, who has lost as much passion for teaching as she has for her husband. The simple guy who has every reason to think his life has stalled will come to learn an unexpected lesson: when you think everything worth having has passed you by, you just might discover your reason to live.

"Larry Crowne" is directed by Hanks who also writes the script. Starring also Taraji P. Henson, Bryan Cranston, Wilmer Valderrama, Pam Grier and Maria Canals Barrera among others, the drama movie is due July 1 for U.S. release.
