Representatives explain that the 'American Pie' actor is seeking help to deal with 'health and personal issues' without disclosing what may have caused him to make the decision.

AceShowbiz - Seann William Scott has entered himself into a treatment facility. His representatives have just informed People magazine that the actor best known for his role as Steve Stifler in the "American Pie" series is seeking help to deal with "health and personal issues".
"Seann William Scott has voluntarily admitted himself for proactive treatment to address health and personal issues," explained the reps in a released statement. "He appreciates the support of his many fans at this time."
While they made public Seann's decision to seek help, the reps didn't disclose further information. It is still unknown where the 34-year-old actor was being treated and what has prompted him to make such decision in the first place.
Seann made his big break in movie industry with 1999 movie "American Pie". He has since starred in various comedy movies, including "Dude, Where's My Car?", "The Rundown", The Dukes of Hazzard" and "Role Models". He has also lent his voice to Crash for the "Ice Age" series. In 2010, he starred opposite Bruce Willis in "Cop Out".
