'Battle: Los Angeles' Rules Box Office With 36 Million Dollar

With an estimated $36 million, the sci-fi war movie starring Aaron Eckhart forces Johnny Depp's 'Rango' to leave its first position.

"" has conquered North American Box Office in its opening week by debuting at the penthouse of the weekly rundown. The -starring movie, costing $70 million in production, enters the chart with an estimated $36 million.

Giving up the first spot to "Battle: Los Angeles" is -voiced animated movie "". This Paramount Pictures flick slips from the No. 1 position to the runner-up place by dropping a modest 40% in ticket sales with an addition of $23.1 million.
