New Clip for Fox's 'Rio' Sees Chained Escape
Movie

See how two macaw birds escape from a cage and elude capture while their legs are chained to each other's.

AceShowbiz - More scenes from "Rio" have been clipped to give moviegoers a sneak peek to the upcoming film. It follows Blu and another macaw bird who escape from a cage. Unable to fly because their legs are chained to each other's, the two birds must move faster to elude captures by another bird as well as some men who steal them. The chase scene ends with a city's blackout.

Blu is a rare macaw who thinks he is the last of his kind and cannot fly. When Blu discovers there's another - and that she's a she - he leaves the comforts of his cage in small town Minnesota and heads to Rio. Unexpectedly thrown together, they embark on an adventure of a lifetime, where they learn about friendship, love, courage, and being open to life's many wonders.

Coming from "Ice Age: The Meltdown" and "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" director Carlos Saldanha, "Rio" has Anne Hathaway, Jesse Eisenberg, George Lopez, will.i.am and Jamie Foxx among the voice cast.

This 3-D animation will head into theaters across the nation on April 15.
