The British actress would not be physically present on the set but her voice would come through Tinker Bell.

AceShowbiz - Keira Knightley would make her first U.S. television debut in "Neverland", a four-hour miniseries which is due to air on SyFy in December. However, she won't appear in real-life size for only her voice will fill the character Tinker Bell. Deadline said she would record her role this spring.

"Neverland" is a prequel of Peter Pan's adventure wrapped as a live-action project. It stars Rhys Ifans as Jimmy Hook, mentor of Peter and other young pickpockets who would like to snatch a magical orb which transports them to another world - Neverland. Filled with white jungles and imposing cities formed out of trees created by Dr. Fludd and inhabited by a colony of tree spirits led by Tinker Bell, this mysterious realm welcomes unknown friends and enemies snatched from time.

Charlie Rowe takes the role of Peter, supported by Anna Friel as power-mad Elizabeth Bonny, and Raoul Trujillo as Holy Man.
