Avenged Sevenfold Rule Rock Airplay Chart With 'Welcome to the Family'

are celebrating - the heavy metal group score a No. 1 single again. This week, the M. Shadows-fronted band rule BDS Active Rock Airplay chart with "Welcome to the Family", their self-written single from fifth studio album "".

Beside sitting atop the BDS chart, they also receive Gold certification from RIAA for selling more than half million copies with the 2010 record. When dropping the album in July last year, they earned their highest-ever debut by entering Billboard Hot 200 at the penthouse with 163,000 copies.

Avenged Sevenfold are currently on tour with new shows for such major music events as Edgefest and Lazerfest recently added. Arin Ilejay of Confide has just been announced to replace drummer Mike Portnoy who filled in the shoes of Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan. The Rev died of drug overdose in 2009.
