Taken from her photoshoot session with Nick Knight, the black-and-white picture features topless GaGa with wild hair and some strange protrusions on her face.

AceShowbiz - A few days shy of her single premiere, Lady GaGa takes it to her Twitter to share official artwork of the soon-to-be-released song. The singer is topless with her bare back to the camera in this black-and-white image. She is wearing wild hair as well as thick cat-like eyeliner and having pointy protrusions on her forehead, cheekbone and shoulder.

Titled "Born This Way", the single is now slated to make its way out this coming Friday on February 11, two days before GaGa showcases it live in front of star-studded audience at the upcoming live telecast of Grammy Awards. The music video is expected to follow later on.

Details about the clip have just emerged, revealing that it's directed by Jonas Akerlund, the same man behind the lens of Britney Spears' "Hold It Against Me". To fit the song which is meant to empower her transgender fans, GaGa reportedly films the video as her "love letter to the homosexual community" and it continues her effort to confront the recently-repealed "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy.

GaGa allegedly shot the video in New York City and spent the first week of February editing it while at the same time occupied with her rehearsals for the Grammys. "She approaches herself as GaGa in the gender bending video and there are references to Jo Calderone, the male model she portrayed in the September issue of Vogue Hommes Japan," a source told Hollywood Life.

The upcoming song will be GaGa's first offering for her May 23 studio album of the same name "Born This Way". It is written by GaGa and co-produced by her along with Fernando Garibay and DJ White Shadow.
