AceShowbiz - The next episode of "The Vampire Diaries" is titled "Daddy Issues" for one paternal figure makes a come back. John Gilbert's return to Mystic Falls comes as an unhappy surprise to Elena, Jenna and Damon. It was revealed in the first season that David Anders' character John aka Uncle John is Elena's biological father.
It is Stefan who brings John back to town, much to Elena's frustration. "She feels like everyone around her is against her," Nina Dobrev told Zap2It. "She has one thing in mind: she wants to sacrifice herself to save her family and her friends, and they are hell-bent on stopping her. It almost feels like everyone is against her. Now, her father comes home on top of everything, and he's in cahoots with everyone about it."
Also in the February 3 episode, Caroline lets Stefan know about her conversation with Tyler, and Stefan does his best to reach out to a confused and conflicted Tyler. Jeremy comforts Bonnie after her disturbing conversation with Jonas. When Jules takes a hostage, the situation quickly escalates into a violent confrontation.
On another news, producers have found an actor to play legendary bloodsucker Klaus. TV Line said British actor Joseph Morgan is close to portray the member of the Originals after a search of more than 100 candidates.
