has revived his infamous "I'mma let you finish, but ..." comment. After throwing it to at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards when she accepted her Best Female Video, now the outspoken rapper directs it to .

"Yo Britney, I'm really happy for you and I'mma let you be #1, but me and single is one of the best songs of all time," he tweeted on January 14. To this remark, Britney's manager Adam Leber responded, "Thanks for 'letting' us be #1. Much appreciated...."

Britney Spears and Kanye West dropped their new singles almost at the same time. The former came out with "Hold It Against Me", and the latter released a duet track with Jay-Z in "H.A.M". They battled for the first spot on singles charts, and Britney won the race as her single ruled iTunes charts in sixteen countries.

Britney is currently preparing a music video for the chart-topping single. In a recent interview with MTV, choreographer Brian Friedman shared, "This is a dance video. Rehearsals can get pretty rough. We're playing it safe, we're not trying to kill ourselves yet, but as the video comes closer and closer, we'll definitely be hurting our backs."

"There was a moment while we were rehearsing where I showed Britney a section and it was something I really wanted her to do, and she freaked out. ... It's crazy when you first see something like that, how overwhelming it can be, especially when you haven't been in the [dance] studio for a year."

While they are playing safe with the rehearsals, Britney "is taking risks when it comes to fashion." Praising the Southern belle as a friend who is fun to work with, the choreographer said, "I think you can expect the unexpected from Britney."
