Hayley Williams Reveals Demo of Her Solo Song

The Paramore lead singer is sad and grieving 'In the Mourning', which she made not for the band but just for fun.

AceShowbiz - Beside making music with Paramore, Hayley Williams who once quit the band, also has a solo song titled "In the Mourning". On the heels of the band split drama, she posted a brief demo of the chorus which features slow-riding beat and sweeping sound.

"Wanted to share the melody with anyone who's asked me to post it," the frontwoman wrote. "This is just the chorus.. I didn't want to post the full thing yet because I don't want people thinking it's a new Paramore song. This is just something I wrote for fun."

"In the mourning I'll rise/ In the mourning I'll let you die/ In the mourning, all my worry," she sings. The other portion of the lyrics was posted before the demo was revealed, and it contains lines, "You escape like a runaway train/ Off the tracks and down again/ My hearts beating like a steam boat, tugging all your burdens on my shoulders."

Last month, Paramore's founding member Zac Farro, who has left the band with his brother Josh Farro, introduced his new project with fellow musician Jason Clark in a song called "Hide Your Eyes".
