Beside revealing that she is actually friends with co-star Kyle Richards, Camille said it was her ex-husband who wanted her life to be exposed in the reality show.

AceShowbiz - Story has developed since Camille Grammer reportedly is set to walk out of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" due to defamation. The estranged wife of actor Kelsey Grammer dropped the bomb on why the show is not doing her good and who actually wanted her to do it at the first place.

Camille revealed that it was Kelsey who encouraged her to do it while they were still married. "I wasn't ready to expose my life that way. We've been a private couple for a long time," Camille told Ellen DeGeneres. "I was surprised he wanted me to do it. I was like, 'Are you crazy? Why are you making me do this?' He thought it would be good for me to do something that was separate from us being a couple. This is something that was my own."

But she has since been disappointed that Kelsey wiped his hands clean. "I found out he wanted out of the relationship during the shooting," she recalled. "A mutual friend called me and said, 'I don't like what he's doing to you and I don't like the timing because you're still in the middle of shooting a reality show.' And then I called him that night and texted him. No answer from him. I waited for three hours and then he called me and said, 'I don't want to be married anymore'."

In an interview with People, Camille revealed further, "It's like a runaway train that's out of control. I'm going through this divorce in my private life, and this on top of everything else has been really hurtful. I don't know where it's coming from."

She added, "Even the nanny controversy, I have to laugh about it, because that was Kelsey's decision to hire the four nannies. And I'm taking all this heat for it. It's almost as if, on the show, he had nothing to do with our life together. We were married! We made these decisions together."

Camille even told E! Online that she is pretty good friends with Kyle Richards who is portrayed on the show as her arch enemy. "I love Kyle, we do get along," Camille insisted. "We are friends, believe it or not. But at times, you know, our personalities just clash. So there's one day we love each other and we're laughing and going to dinner, and then two days after, we're fighting about something ridiculous."

Camille is now free to negotiate a settlement with Bravo, which gives her the ability to leave the show immediately. The housewife hired the famous Larry Stein, Esq. to sit at the bargaining table with Bravo, TMZ reported.
