The legend of King Arthur would be different because 'it's not musical' and viewers would get to see the 'the very beginnings of the round table'.

AceShowbiz - Starz's new take on "Camelot" gives a first look through a behind-the-scene featurette. Like many actors of a new series, the stars such as Joseph Fiennes, Eva Green and Jamie Campbell Bower tell audience how this drama series is different from the rest.

Fiennes, at an attempt to make a joke, said, "I think people should watch this because ...it's not a musical". He could be taking a jab at "Glee" but there is indeed a musical version of the legend which was played on Broadway in the '60s. It won four Tony awards and spawned a musical film adaptation in 1967.

When asked to describe the show in one word, Tamsin Egerton who plays Guinevere said "intense" while Fiennes refused to abide. "It is too bigger theme to be summed up in one word," said the actor who is recovering from his tanked ABC series "FlashForward".

The synopsis of the King Arthur legend series which premieres April 2011 is as follow: "In the wake of King Uther's sudden death, chaos threatens to engulf Britain. When the sorcerer Merlin has visions of a dark future, he installs the young and impetuous Arthur, Uther's unknown son and heir, who has been raised from birth as a commoner."

"But Arthur's cold and ambitious half sister Morgan will fight him to the bitter end, summoning unnatural forces to claim the crown in this epic battle for control. These are dark times indeed for the new King, with Guinevere being the only shining light in Arthur's harsh world. Faced with profound moral decisions, and the challenge of uniting a kingdom broken by war and steeped in deception, Arthur will be tested beyond imagination."
