CBS 2011 Midseason Schedule Revealed

December 22, 2010 (6:31 am) GMT
The network is switching shows between Wednesday and Friday to accommodate the gaping hole left by 'Medium' and the arrival of 'Chaos'.

CBS is making a lot of shake-ups in its midseason schedule including a four-week trial of "" and a change of schedule for "". The Eye, which has just released the list, revealed that "Blue Bloods" is getting a new time period on Wednesdays at 10/9c. This results in current occupant "Defenders" being moved to Friday 8/7c.

As it has been reported, CBS is no longer keeping "", thus the Friday slot is open. The network pairs "Defenders" and "" for four weeks before "Blue Bloods" return to its Friday 10/9c slot on February 19. This way, CBS no longer has supernatural night with the elimination of "Medium" and "".

"" spin-off "" will debut February 16 on Wednesday 10/9c. And when "The Defenders" is out of the picture in April, new series "" will take over. Meanwhile, half-hour comedy "" is pitted between "" and "" on Thursdays.

Wednesdays, Effective Jan. 19

Fridays, Effective Feb. 4 Fridays, Effective Feb. 11 Wednesday, Effective Feb. 16 Monday, Effective Feb. 21 Thursday, Effective Feb. 24 Friday, Effective April 1
