After rumor saying that the actor wants the iconic adventurer to meet his end in the fifth film surfaced, Ford's representatives debunk the story.

AceShowbiz - Harrison Ford has not planned to end the adventure of his beloved character, Indiana Jones, just yet. The actor was said aiming to kill off the fame archeologist in "Indiana Jones V". But soon after the news hit the web, his representatives reach out to The Huffington Post to deny the story, calling it false.
The rumor was first brought into attention by Showbiz Spy. The site quoted an insider as saying, "Harrison thinks it would be good for Indy to die and pass on his hat to his son in the next one."
Ford reportedly had told creator George Lucas and director Steven Spielberg about his idea. "George especially is resisting the notion but Steven is considering it. Funnily enough Harrison wanted the same for Han Solo in the final 'Star Wars' but George put an end to it. This time he doesn't have all the say though," the insider went on gushing on the filmmakers' reactions.
Harrison Ford has portrayed Indiana Jones since the first installment of the adventure film franchise, 1981 "Raiders of the Lost Ark". He was last seen as the adventurer in 2008 "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" in which he starred alongside Shia LaBeouf.
Recently, the younger actor talked about story for the next movie, saying "I got called into Steven's office and he pitched a little bit to me and it sounds crazy, it sounds really cool."
