Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde paired up at the special screening of their film, which was attended by famous celebrity guests like Tom Cruise, Will Ferrell and Joe Jonas.

AceShowbiz - Columbia Pictures created an atmosphere of virtual world at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood as they held the Los Angeles premiere of "Tron Legacy" there on Saturday, December 11. Supporting the glamorous event was Garrett Hedlund who previously missed the U.K. premiere.

Gushing about watching the film for the first time, he shared, "I saw it couple weeks ago when I was in Montreal, but only with a couple pals and on a smaller Technicolor screen. But even then it was an incredible experience. It's such a high-tech adventure." He added, "It's undoubtedly like anything I've ever seen before, and I think the loss for words on it is the best part of it and I can't wait to see it again."

Hedlund suited up that night, joining Olivia Wilde who looked stunning in a gold sequin dress. Jeff Bridges also opted a formal outfit to attend the premiere, tagging along his wife Susan Bridges. The vet actor and co-star Bruce Boxleitner playfully posed with sunglasses on the blue carpet though the sun did not glare.

Other cast members like Michael Sheen, Beau Garrett and Daft Punk, who appeared as cameos and contributed to the film's soundtrack, as well as director Joseph Kosinski were also present at the special screening. More famous faces graced the blue carpet with Tom Cruise, Will Ferrell, Joe Jonas and Jenna Malone seen among the guests.

"Tron Legacy" follows Sam Flynn as he investigates the disappearance of his father Kevin and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Made in 3-D, the action sci-fi will hit theaters across the nation on December 17.
