Snoop Dogg welcomes Gorillaz's fans to the Plastic Beach while he is checking out his surroundings using his telescope.

AceShowbiz - Gorillaz have debuted a music video for their latest single "Welcome to the World of the Plastic Beach." Instead of featuring the members of the animated band, the clip highlights their collaborator Snoop Dogg wearing a captain outfit with a telescope in his hand.

"Welcome to the World of the Plastic Beach" is one of the singles appearing in Gorillaz's third studio album "Plastic Beach". Beside Snoop Dogg, there are also Little Dragon, Gruff Rhys, De La Soul, Mos Def, Mike Jones and Lou Reed supporting them in the featured guests line-up.

Gorillaz are currently on tour. When the gig comes to an end, Damon Albarn is considering to retire because the British rocker can't "keep going at this size and pace." The Blur frontman has been touring extensively with the group this year, taking their Escape to Plastic Beach shows to Asia, Europe, Australia and North America, as well as enjoying headline slots at the U.K.'s Glastonbury festival and Coachella in California.

The tour wraps up in New Zealand later this month, and Albarn has scheduled a "period of reflection and sobriety" to consider the band's future. He says, "It's been an unqualified success - bizarrely... But... we always think that when we get to a point where we've achieved something that it's time to stop, don't we?... We'll see how we feel in January (after the tour). A period of reflection and sobriety... I couldn't keep going at this size and pace."

Albarn's Gorillaz collaborator Jamie Hewlett adds, "This would be a wonderful point to leave Gorillaz; at the end of this tour, I think... This tour, with these people, is a one-off. It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We'll never repeat this."
