Demi Lovato and her entourage were leaving Bogota, Colombia in a private plane when she 'walked up to Alex and with a closed fist, struck her on the left side of her face.'

AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato has been away from the limelight for more than a month but news about her wrongdoing keep buzzing. Some pictures of bruised Alex Welch whom Demi reportedly punched in the face has surfaced via TMZ.
Welch is one of the female backup dancers in Jonas Brothers' tour. Demi and some of her friends went to a party after a concert but the tour managers were not happy when they found out. Demi felt someone in the tour had told on her and she confronted Alex while they were on private jet. "There was a short, physical altercation," a family source said, adding that it was "one-sided."
TMZ's photos, which were taken days after the incident, captured Alex's left eye socket blackened. There's also a bruise on her left cheek. TMZ said Demi came out of nowhere and punched Alex out of her seat. The dancer needed an emergency medical attention.
"Afterwards, Demi felt awful about her behavior and realized she needed to take personal responsibility for it," the insider added. "Because of this, and because of the battles Demi has fought throughout her life, both she and her family realized she needed to take steps to get help immediately." Demi was removed from the plane, sent home and checked herself into rehab.
Alex is reportedly considering a legal action against Demi and teaming up with attorney Donald Karpel.
