America Gets Ready for Macy's Thanksgiving Parade

Correspondents Matt Lauer, Meredith Vieira and Al Roker will host the annual parade which is airing on NBC live Thursday, November 25 morning.

AceShowbiz - United States of America is prepared to watch the 84th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Balloons are inflated, cheerleaders are practicing moves, marching bands are gathering their instruments and clowns are putting their make-up on. This year, around 3.5 million people are expected to swarm the streets of New York in addition to the 50 million audience at home who watch via NBC.

The parade will kick off at 9 A.M. ET on Thursday, November 25 and continue until noon. It will start at Central Park West, pass the Times Square and go all the way to 34th Street via 6th Avenue. Balloon inflations took place the day before the parade on 77th and 81st Streets where public are permitted to view from 3 to 10 P.M.

This year's floats would include Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Kung Fu Panda, Kaikai & Kiki by Murakami, Yes Virginia, Spiderman, Kermit the Frog, Shrek, and the traditional turkey. Celebrities scheduled to attend are Jessica Simpson, Kanye West, Kylie Minogue, Gladys Knight, Jimmy Fallon & The Roots, Victoria Justice and Miranda Cosgrove.

NBC will stream it live, hosted by Matt Lauer, Meredith Vieira and Al Roker.
