AceShowbiz - Fantasia Barrino was said making a shocking confession when she testified in child custody case between her married lover Antwaun Cook and his estranged wife Paula Cook in a Charlotte, North Carolina court on Monday, November 22. Although the court was closed to reporters, but sources told Radar Online that Fantasia admitted she got pregnant with Antwaun and had an abortion.
The site mentioned that Fantasia aborted her love child around the time of her suicide attempt back in early August. By a Mecklenburg County Court judge, the "American Idol" winner was pressed on whether or not she knew that Antwaun and Paula were still living together during their affair.
Two sources in the courtroom told CNN Fantasia confessed that from the first day of her relationship with Antwaun, she knew that he was married and still living with Paula. However, the singer's manager refused to comment when reached out by the site.
In the court, lawyers for Paula also reportedly questioned Fantasia about her hotel rendezvous with Antwaun. "Paula's lawyer is arguing that they got the room because she knew he was still married," one onlooker who was inside the court told Radar Online.
In the court filing, Paula alleged her husband Antwaun and Fantasia engaged in an affair during which Antwaun enjoyed "the lavish benefits associated with the high-profile relationship." Paula also accused Fantasia of wrecking her marriage and stealing her husband.
Fantasia Barrino and Antwaun Cook's affair news made headline earlier this year. Although previously denying the romance, Fantasia finally admitted that she dated Antwaun "off and on for about 11 months" but insisted she at that time thought he had separated from his wife.
