Julia Roberts and Fergie Honored at Glamour Women of the Year Awards

The two beauties were awarded at the Monday night, November 8 event for their charitable works and recognition in the public eye, joining other honorees like Cher and Donatella Versace.

AceShowbiz - Julia Roberts and Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie were two honorees at 2010 Glamour Women of the Year Awards which was held at New York City's Carnegie Hall on Monday night, November 8. The "Eat, Pray, Love" actress and the only female member of Black Eyed Peas were both honored for their charitable works.

Julia, who hit the star-studded event in L'Wren Scott dress, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and Me&Ro earrings, got her honor, which was presented by talk show host Oprah Winfrey, for her works with Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and the renewable energy organization Earth Biofuels as well as for raising awareness for Rett Syndrome.

Meanwhile, Fergie was accompanied by "Transformers" star husband Josh Duhamel that night. The "Big Girls Don't Cry" singer, looking stunning in a red hot Zac Posen gown, was honored by Kate Hudson for her activism with breast cancer research and AIDS awareness.

Beside Julia and Fergie, other honorees that night were designer Donatella Versace, Queen Rania of Jordan and singer Cher. Donatella was honored for continuing to support a children's charity in China and acting as a mentor to younger designers while Queen Rania landed the honor for her dedication to empowering and educating women and girls.

Cher, in the meantime, is Glamour's Lifetime Achievement Award winner. Cher, who will be seen in upcoming movie "Burlesque", has helped build a school for orphans in Kenya, supported Operation Helmet and co-founded The Heroes Project for wounded veterans.
