Paramount Pictures is teasing "Tintin" fans by sharing pieces of the first picture from "The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn" via Empire Online. The twelve pieces give glimpses of Tintin's hair, blue sweater, shoe as well as his dog Snowy.

Steven Spielberg directed a live-action footage, upon which the animation will be based, a year ago. The footage was then handed off to Peter Jackson and WETA, who went to work animating CGI footage based upon Spielberg's work.

The film will depict Tintin's (Jamie Bell) first encounter with Captain Haddock (Andy Serkis) and the discovery of a clue to the treasure of his ancestor Sir Francis Haddock. They set out to find it with protection from a prison escapee who tried to get the treasure as well as Detectives Thomson (Nick Frost) and Thompson (Simon Pegg).

Daniel Craig is also among the cast ensemble, starring as the nefarious Red Rackham. This family adventure movie has secured December 23, 2011 slot for its U.S. release schedule.
