In anticipation of her 'Burlesque' release, Christina Aguilera has secured a main slot at the American Music Awards to 'showcase moments' from the upcoming movie.

AceShowbiz - Christina Aguilera is the latest musical guest added to the line-up of this year's American Music Awards. The singer will perform "Burlesque" soundtrack at the awards show which will be held on November 21, a few days before the movie is released in theaters across the country.
"Christina is known for her powerful and engaging performances," said AMAs producer Larry Klein. "We are looking forward to her 'Burlesque' number, which will showcase moments from one of the most anticipated films of the season."
AMAs is going to take place at the Nokia Theatre in L.A. with Rihanna expected to kick off the event. The other performers are Bon Jovi, Usher and Pink. More musical acts and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks. In the meantime, fans can visit amavote.com to vote for the winners.
