Upset Kanye West Reveals Banned Cover Art Ft. Him and His Phoenix Naked
Music

The artwork which got banned in the United States features an animated character of nude Kanye West 'chilling on the couch' with his phoenix.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West is upset that the cover art of his new album "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" is banned in the U.S. The rapper vented his frustration on Twitter and then posted the parental advisory-labeled artwork on the micro-blogging site.

The picture features an animated female character with no arms and clothes as she sits on top of a naked male. In response to the controversy, Kanye protested in a series of tweets, "They don't want me chilling on the couch with my phoenix! In the 70s album covers had actual nudity... It's so funny that people forget that... Everything has been so commercialized now."

"I know that cover just blew yall minds ... I wish yall could see how hard I'm smiling right now!!! In all honesty ... I really don't be thinking about Wal-Mart when I make my music or album covers. I wanna sell albums but not at the expense of my true creativity. So Nirvana can have a naked human being on they cover but I can't have a PAINTING of a monster with no arms and a polka dot tail and wings."

Prior to the rants, Kanye West revealed a new song for G.O.O.D Friday treatment. It's titled "Take One for the Team" and features Keri Hilson, Pusha T and CyHi Da Prynce. "You know what?/ I figured out I'm not a nice guy/ I shook hands, kissed babies, gave it a nice try," he raps in this track. "You know what?/ I hate pictures of other people kids/ I hate plastic couches in other people cribs."

He has also announced the premiere of his "Runaway" mini movie. He wrote, "My 35 min film 'RUNAWAY' will premiere simultaneously on MTV BET MTV2 MTV.com BET.com VH1.com next Saturday October 23rd @ 8pm est."
