Gus Van Sant's 'Restless' Debuts Trailer

Mia Wasikowska is a terminally ill girl who falls for a boy, who likes to attend funerals with the ghost of a Japanese kamikaze pilot from WWII, in this film.

Gus Van Sant is playing around with death in his upcoming movie "" and it has been previewed in a trailer. The story begins with a meeting of and Henry Lee Hopper, who likes funeral crashing with a ghost of a Japanese kamikaze pilot from WWII.

Wasikowska falls in love with this quirky boy and their encounters with Hopper's supernatural friend. But Hopper's world suddenly falls apart when he learns that his real friend faces her own death. This story of a teenage boy and a girl who share a preoccupation with mortality is described as contemporary and distinctive take on young love.

Jason Lew writes the screenplay for "Restless" while Brian Grazer, Ron Howard and join forces to produce it. This PG-13 drama is slated to open wide in the U.S. on January 28, 2011.
