The actress' former football star boyfriend Eric Johnson has finalized his divorce from wife of five years Keri Johnson after the two filed the legal papers in January.

AceShowbiz - Jessica Simpson can now freely marry former football star boyfriend Eric Johnson (II) without having courts in their way. According to court papers obtained by E! Online, Eric has finally finalized his divorce from estranged wife, stylist Keri Johnson, on last Thursday, October 7.
The documents mentioned that no spousal support was awarded to either party. Moreover, the court papers also revealed about the division of assets including Eric and Keri's three cars. Eric keeps the 2004 Toyota Prius while Keri is allowed to keep the 2004 Mercedes E350 and the 2001 Chevy Tahoe.
Keri also keeps all of the furniture, artwork and china from their Redwood City, California home and an additional $162,000 from Eric. The then-couple was married for five years. Before dating Jessica, Eric, who last played for the New Orleans Saints back in 2008, had separated from Keri since October 2009 and filed for divorce in January this year.
Meanwhile, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson's romance rumor first hit the media back in May. And during Jessica's 29th birthday in July, the two showed off their affection as they were pictured sharing some serious PDA sessions on a private yacht in Capri, Italy. At one point, the "Employee of the Month" actress was also seen wrapping her legs around him while giving him a smooch.
