Eva Longoria to Host MTV EMAs With Ke$ha Added to Performers Line-Up

While the 'Desperate Housewives' actress is tapped as the host, Ke$ha is hired to rock out the event with her live performance along with Kings of Leon and Kid Rock.

AceShowbiz - The official host of MTV European Music Awards which will be held on November 7 in Madrid, Spain has been revealed. Following the footsteps of previous hosts Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake is "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria.

"I'm beyond excited to be asked to host the 2010 EMAs and getting to do it in the beautiful city of Madrid is the icing on the cake," she said. "I can't wait to see some fabulous performances and love that the most nominated artists this year are two amazing women, making some of the most exciting music in pop right now!"

In addition, the event organizers have also announced three additional musical acts which are set to join previously-announced performers Katy Perry and Linkin Park. They are Kings of Leon, Ke$ha and Kid Rock. "Madrid, watch out, I'm coming to party and I promise it will be messy," Ke$ha stated.

Voting for winners has been opened at ema.mtv.co.uk until November 4. Appearing on the nominations list this year are Katy Perry, Lady GaGa, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Eminem, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Shakira and Tokio Hotel.
