Nicki Minaj and Jay-Z Win Big, Waka Flocka Flame Furious at BET Hip-Hop Awards

The Young Money rapper and the Roc Nation founder grabbed three awards at the star-studded event which ended with a feud between Waka Flocka Flame and BET executive Stephen G. Hill.

2010 Bet Hip-Hop Awards has been held on Saturday, October 2 at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center. Big winners of that evening were and who were presented with three awards each.

Minaj received Rookie of the Year, beating , , and . She additionally won Verizon People's Champ kudo and Made You Look award. For the latter prize, she pushed aside Jay-Z, , and .

"Last year, I was here in anticipation of the cypher. Now I'm here in anticipation of my debut. []," Minaj told the crowd when accepting one of her trophies. "I'm paving the way for girls. I wanna thank all the girls of hip-hop."

Although losing Made You Look kudo to Minaj, Jay-Z who didn't attend the prize-giving event still won Perfect Combo for his -assisted hit single "Empire State of Mind", CD of the Year for 2009 "" and also Best Live Performer.

Bet Hip-Hop Awards was hosted by and is scheduled to air on October 12 at 8/7c. Performers included , , , , J. Cole, , , Dipset and Cali Swagg District. Waka Flocka Flame also performed at the event, but his performance might be cut. Flame rapped "Hard in the Paint" and "No Hands" on the show when deciding to jump off the stage to connect with his fans during the set, something which was not rehearsed and unfortunately not approved by BET executive Stephen G. Hill.

Hill posted on Twitter, "BET Hip-Hop Awards. The show was going so well...and then Waka Flak-ed. Yeah. I said it. Waka. Flocka. Flamed. Out. like it or not,he's popular. Wanted to give a shot #mistake." Flame quickly responded, "How the f**k you invite Waka Flocka and hate when I jump N the crowd to connect more wit fans and friends."

"We had a GREAT look for you. Flames on stage. Great lighting," Hill tweeted back. "My man Jesse (producer) was on it with your look. We'll put the rehearsal on BET.com so folks can see what it was supposed to be. Then you decided to change the track without telling us... and jumping in the audience... without telling us... was disrespect."

Upset Waka continued to berate Hill, "I THA[N]K BET AS A WHOLE. 99% SHOULD I SAY... ITS JUST THAT 1% IS A DUCK ASS N***a." Hill then invited the rapper for a "talk." He wrote, "Bring your manager. I should NOT have sent that first text... but there's some learning here. You in?"
