AceShowbiz - The first footage from "I Am Number Four" has been shared in a teaser trailer. Debuted by Yahoo! Movies, the video is narrated by Alex Pettyfer's Number Four who explains that three of his kind were hunted and killed in different countries.
Number Four aka John Smith is one of nine alien teens on the run from ruthless enemies sent to destroy him. He is changing his identity, assimilating to high school on Earth, and moving from town to town with his guardian Henri.
In the small Ohio town he now calls home, John encounters unexpected, life-changing events - his first love, powerful new abilities and a connection to the others who share his incredible destiny. Now that the first three of them have been killed, Number Four must fight to survive.
"Glee" babe Dianna Agron stars opposite Alex Pettyfer as Sarah, Number Four's love interest. Timothy Olyphant is cast as Henri, replacing Sharlto Copley who dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. Teresa Palmer also lands role as Number Six.
D.J. Caruso directs "I Am Number Four" with Michael Bay producing it. Meanwhile, Steven Spielberg is among the executive producers. This action sci-fi will open wide in theaters across the nation on February 18, 2011.
