'Let Me In' Holds Not-So-Creepy Los Angeles Premiere

Chloe Moretz, who portrays a female vampire in the horror film, is among those hitting the red carpet of the September 27 event.

AceShowbiz - Few days away from the U.S. release, "Let Me In" has got its red carpet treatment during a Los Angeles premiere on Monday, September 27. Taking place at the Bruin Theatre-Westwood, the event welcomed guests ranging from young stars to the more experienced ones.

Chloe Moretz, who takes one of the lead roles as mysterious girl Abby, looked cute in a blue bustier. Meanwhile, the depicter of bullied boy Owen, Kodi Smit-McPhee, appeared casual in a gray T-shirt matched with jeans and colorful sneakers. For the special screening, he tagged along his actress sister Sianoa Smit-McPhee.

Niolai Dorian, Dylan Minnette and Jimmy 'Jax' Pinchak were later seen joining Kodi to pose together on the red carpet. Also supporting the premiere were Elias Koteas, Cara Buono and Richard Jenkins, who take roles of the adults in the movie. Director Matt Reeves additionally showed up that night.

Based on the best-selling Swedish novel "Lat den Ratte Komma In" (Let the Right One In) by John Ajvide Lindqvist and the highly-acclaimed film of the same name, "Let Me In" revolves around twelve-year-old Owen who is alienated seeking friend in his new mysterious neighbor Abby. When a string of grisly murders puts the town on high alert, Abby's father disappears, and the terrified girl is left to fend for herself.

Still, she repeatedly rebuffs Owen's efforts to help her and her increasingly bizarre behavior leads the imaginative Owen to suspect she's hiding an unthinkable secret. The R-rated horror film will open wide in the U.S. on October 1.
