The Los Angeles Galaxy star is said hiring top U.S. trial lawyer Bert Deixler to tackle In Touch Weekly after publishing story that he has bedded $10,000-a-night hooker Irma Nici.

AceShowbiz - Professional footballer David Beckham refused to take no action over recent swirling allegation launched by In Touch Weekly mentioning he cheated on wife Victoria Adams by bedding "$10,000-a-night hooker" Irma Nici. Fighting the claim back, David's rep told Us Magazine, "The allegations that have been made are completely untrue and totally ridiculous."

"Sadly, we live in a world where a magazine can print lies and believe they can get away with it. We are taking legal action against the magazine," the rep further said. And it wasn't only David's rep who denied the story. A friend called the allegation a "stitch-up job", adding to The Sun "David has been set up and we believe it may be a malicious attempt to discredit him."

"David and Victoria are very calm about this nonsense. They cannot believe a magazine like In Touch would print such a pack of lies. They will be fighting it tooth and nail," the friend went on. According to the site, David has hired top U.S. trial lawyer Bert Deixler to tackle the magazine.

As for Irma herself, she has made headline after telling the mag that David paid her $10,000 in cash to have unprotected sex at New York's Le Parker Meridien hotel back in August 2007. She claimed David wanted to watch a lesbian romp before having sex with another hooker, who was described as a "curvy brunette". David was also said asking Irma to stay the night with him.

"It was a high. All of these women dream of being with him, and I got to hook up with him. It was very exciting," Irma said, adding that they did "nothing freaky" and that the former Manchester United playmaker was "very gentle and kind." Irma further said she met David again the following month at Claridge's Hotel in London.

However, the friend told The Sun that there was clear factual inaccuracy in Irma's story. The pal mentioned that during the alleged night, David and his Los Angeles Galaxy team-mates didn't stay at the Le Parker Meridien hotel. "He wasn't even staying at the hotel she has suggested. He was at the Waldorf Astoria," the pal revealed.
